Richardson Commercial have recieved instructions to act on behalf of 3 companies in seeking office accommodation in both Newbury and Swindon.

Working jointly with King Sturge, the practice is seeking 5-6000 sq ft of good quality office accommodation in Swindon on behalf of Travelport, the travel services company. "Richardson Commercial's task is to search negotiate and ultimately acquire a new office building", says Paul Richardson.

In addition the practice continues to seek a stand alone office building in Newbury on behalf of a local accountancy practice as well as searching for 2-3,000 sq ft offices for a local language school.

New Rates Assessment for 2010


All Commercial Properties in England, Scotland and Wales have been issued with new rateable values.

The new rateable values will be fixed by reference to rental levels at 1st April 2008.

The Valuation Office which handles such matters will need to take account of the global financial crisis and how that has impacted although many commentators say this was after the 1st April 2008 and therefore will not be fully taken into account.
