The sale, which was at the asking price of £4mn reflects an net initial yield of 5% having allowed for the usual purchaser costs.

New Rates Assessment for 2010
All Commercial Properties in England, Scotland and Wales have been issued with new rateable values.
The new rateable values will be fixed by reference to rental levels at 1st April 2008.
The Valuation Office which handles such matters will need to take account of the global financial crisis and how that has impacted although many commentators say this was after the 1st April 2008 and therefore will not be fully taken into account.
